Healing doesn’t have to take years, and you don’t have to do it alone. Norma’s trauma-informed, somatic approach honors the body’s wisdom, supports nervous system regulation, and helps women break generational patterns rooted in survival. The heart of her work is guiding you back to yourself so you can create secure love, healthy relationships, and a life that feels aligned and fulfilling.
I specialize in love and relationship coaching, somatic trauma therapy, and soul-centered healing to help women move beyond survival, regulate their nervous systems, and create secure, emotionally healthy love.
I’m Norma Garcia — Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Love & Relationship Coach, and Sound Bath Practitioner. As a first-generation Latina and daughter of Mexican immigrants, I integrate ancestral wisdom with trauma-informed, holistic practices to help women regulate their nervous systems, heal emotionally, and return home to themselves.
Norma didn’t always know she’d become a therapist. Like many First-Gen daughters of immigrants, she learned to survive by staying strong, carrying her family’s emotional weight while quietly battling anxiety, heartbreak, and burnout.
Her healing began when she realized talk therapy alone wasn’t enough. Through somatic therapy, energy work, and ancestral practices, she reconnected with her body and discovered her calling: helping women heal at the root.
Norma Garcia is the founder of Amalú Therapy & Wellness, where she supports women in moving out of survival mode and into embodied safety, self-trust, and empowered relationships.
Through a trauma-informed, body-centered approach, Norma helps women heal relationship wounds, regulate the nervous system, and release generational patterns that shape how love is experienced and chosen.
Amalú offers culturally affirming, somatic healing designed to help you feel grounded, worthy, and whole so love no longer feels like something to chase, manage, or endure.
With over a decade of clinical experience, Norma blends trauma-informed therapy, somatic practices, and evidence-based modalities to help women heal emotional pain, rebuild self-worth, and create healthy, empowered relationships.
Her integrative approach draws from Somatic Trauma Therapy, Brainspotting, Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to address how trauma is stored in the body, not just processed through the mind.
At Amalú Therapy & Wellness, Norma provides a safe, supportive space for women to regulate their nervous systems, release toxic relationship patterns, and reconnect with their emotional truth cultivating clarity, and confidence in love and life.
Norma’s signature work weaves somatic therapy, trauma-informed care, and intuitive energetic practices to help women feel safe in their bodies, release emotional blocks, and reconnect with their inner truth.
Grounded in neuroscience, nervous system regulation, and ancestral wisdom, her approach supports healing where it lives in the body, the nervous system, and relationships while honoring cultural context and embodied safety.
Specializing in love and relationship healing, somatic embodiment, and feminine self-worth, Norma helps women break generational patterns and create relationships that feel secure, aligned, and emotionally nourishing.
This work is a return to your most grounded, regulated, and empowered self where love no longer feels unsafe, forced, or something you have to earn.
